The School of Physics and Astronomy at Queen Mary, University of London has been awarded funding for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position in the CRST. Applicants with interests in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
perturbative and non-perturbative aspects of gauge and string theory, dualities in field theory and string theory, AdS/CFT, string phenomenology and cosmology. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in the area of higher-order perturbative calculations of amplitudes in gauge theories and gravity with a focus on connections to AdS/CFT correspondence, string theory and twistors, perturbative QCD, and integrability.
Succesful applicants will be expected to have a PhD in Theoretical Physics (or equivalent experience) and be particularly knowledgeable of recent progress or activity in this area. Applicants will also be required to work independently, have strong analytical skills and be an effective team player. The position is for 2 years with a possible extension to 3 years.
